The Ultimate Bath Store is Now Sink & Spout

1971

Kevin Condron and William Kennedy purchase Central Supply Company, which dated back to 1901 in Worcester, Massachusetts. 

1986

Central Supply opened its first retail plumbing showroom – The Ultimate Bath Store - in Worcester, Massachusetts. Hard to imagine, but it was unique to have a dedicated space where homeowners could see decorative plumbing fixtures. 

1986-1997

Condron grew the company over a decade through acquisitions and brought on new customers and product lines. 

1998

Central Supply Company merged with Capitol Plumbing & Heating Supply and moved its headquarters to Concord, New Hampshire and rebranded as The Granite Group (announcing their move to the granite state.) 

2001

Kevin’s son Bill Condron, now CEO of The Granite Group, joined the family business with a job in the warehouse, working his way up to managing a branch and then,

eventually, the entire company. Under his leadership, The Granite Group has expanded to become a full-service distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, water systems and energy products serving contractors, maintenance professionals and municipalities in all six New England states. 

2023

New retail showrooms opened as the wholesale side of the business expanded and The Ultimate Bath Store grew to 15 showrooms throughout New England. In 2023, the showrooms are serving both homeowners and designers with much more than just bathroom fixtures; they are trusted collaborators in bathrooms, kitchens, pantries, and feature lighting for various home spaces. The Ultimate Bath Store is now Sink & Spout, with plans for additional products and showroom locations on the horizon.
